Here is the question I have received.

Can I make beats with Suno and sell them on Beatstars?

My answer for this is, “If you do it, do it at your own risk. That’s because the laws regarding AI-generated music are still under development, so nobody really knows the correct answer to it.”

Now, I am going to add my own Q&A on top of this. It is just my personal opinion, so please take it as a reference only.

Q1. Is it necessary to disclose that the beat was generated by AI?

A1. I personally believe it is better to disclose that information.

Q2. Can AI-generated music be registered with “YouTube Content ID and more” service provided by BeatStars?

A2. I personally think you can “attempt” to register the beats created with Suno on YouTube Content ID only if you made them using Suno’s paid plan and have commercial usage rights. However, due to the current copyright laws and YouTube’s policies regarding AI-generated music, there is a risk that your registration may not be accepted. Not only that, but if it is later discovered that the track you registered was generated by Suno (it is said that Suno’s music contains inaudible fingerprints to humans so that they know), there is a risk that your account could be banned from BeatStars and/or YouTube. Therefore, I think it is safer not to register AI-generated music with YouTube Content ID via BeatStars.

Q3. If I were to sell stems, would stems generated by Suno be sufficient?

A3. Suno’s stems are decent, but I wouldn’t say they’re high quality. If I were a rapper buying them, I might feel a bit dissatisfied if I received Suno stems. Well, it probably depends on the person.
