Nowadays, everybody makes type beats. Not everybody, but many many people do that.
In my eyes, this is non-sense.
This is because you are trying to recreate somebody else’s beat, so you are killing your own style.
You are unique as a person to begin with.
You have your own experience, own way of thinking, and things you combine in your brain becomes the art, right?
So you should be creating “You-type Beats” instead of “somebody-else type beats”.
Trying to become like somebody is not possible, and it’s just stupid.
Of course, it’s your life, you can do whatever you want, but honestly, I think you will shine brighter when you open up and start your own style.
Another thing is that obviously there is no such thing called “100% your style”, but it will be a combination of many factors you have internally, making it really original.
Where there’s no path, you can start creating a brand new path.
That’s how it should be done.
